COLONIE (November 19, 2003) —
Richard R. Maguire, Esq. of Delmar, a partner in the litigation firm of
D'Agostino, Krackeler, & Maguire, P.C., recently gave a
presentation on expert testimony at the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Fall Torts, Insurance,
& Compensation Law Section meeting. The meeting was held at
the Disney Yacht & Beach Club in Orlando,
Fla.
Excerpts from Maguire’s
presentation, which outlined when and how best to use an expert witness in
motor vehicle crashes, were then published in the Summer 2003 edition of
NYSBA’s Torts, Insurance,
& Compensation Law Section Journal.
Maguire, who concentrates his practice in personal injury
litigation, medical malpractice, construction law, environmental law and
all other matters involving personal injury litigation, is a frequent guest
lecturer at NYSBA — the largest voluntary statewide
organization of lawyers in the nation with more than 70,000 members from
private practice, sole practice and in-house counsel.
A 1986 Siena College graduate and 1989 graduate of Albany Law School,
Maguire is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Albany
County Bar Association, Capital District Trial Lawyers Association and the
Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
D'Agostino, Krackeler, & Maguire, P.C. was founded by
four seasoned litigators in 1997. Located in the The Sage Mansion in
