MENANDS (February 23, 2006) — Mae A. D'Agostino, Esq. of Latham, a
partner in the Menands-based law firm of D'Agostino, Krackeler,
& Maguire, P.C., has been selected for inclusion in the 2007 Best
Lawyers in America list.
D'Agostino, who was also named to the prestigious
publication in 2006, concentrates her trial work in the area of defense of
physicians and hospitals, automobile accidents and work-related litigation.
She was chosen as a result of an exhaustive survey of the legal profession
in which 18,000 leading attorneys throughout the country submitted more
than 1.6 million individual evaluations on legal abilities of other lawyers
representing 57 specialties of law in all 50 states and Washington, DC.

fellow attorneys as one of the best lawyers in America," said D'Agostino,
who will be listed under the specialties of legal malpractice law, medical
malpractice law and personal injury litigation. "This publication is
widely regarded as the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in
the United States."
A 1977 magna cum laude graduate of Siena College in
Loudonville, NY and a 1980 graduate of Syracuse University College of Law,
she is a past chair of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar
Association and in 2003 was inducted into both the International Academy of
Trial Lawyers which limits its membership to approximately 500 American
attorneys and the American College of Trial Lawyers, another selective
professional society.
Through the years, D'Agostino has participated
in numerous Continuing Legal Education programs and continues to freely
give of her time to educate other attorneys. D'Agostino is an Adjunct
Professor at Albany
Law School
where she teaches Trial Tactics and Medical Malpractice. She is also a
member of the Siena College Board of Trustees.
